On Nov. 19, 2015, more than 300 residents and their family members partook of the Thanksgiving dinner at Life Care Center of Bountiful, Utah.
The event was so popular the facility had to host two sittings to accommodate everyone, and long tables filled the dining room and several of the hallways.
Elias Renteria, dietary manager, and his crew, prepared the traditional turkey and side dishes, including mashed potatoes, stuffing, candied yams, rolls and pie. Associates served the meal to residents and their families as they enjoyed visiting together.
“The best part every year is having my daughters come in to join me for Thanksgiving dinner,” said resident Dixie Martindale. “The food was absolutely wonderful. Ramon [Borceguin, assistant food services director] and Elias do an amazing job providing great food for our relatives.”
